Academy

The Limassol Crusaders RFC Youth Academy is open to anyone in the 13 to 17 age group.

This is the natural progression for players as they develop from the LCRFC TAG Academy and will allow them to improve in all areas of the game of rugby including discipline, tackling, contact, player positions and fitness.

Training is on the same night as the Seniors and everybody trains together. By doing this it helps integrate the youngsters in to the heart of the club and see them progress through to playing for the Seniors once they attain the age of 17.

Along the way, the Youth Academy will play games against other clubs in either 7 a side or 10 a side (depending on numbers and opposition).

The Limassol Crusaders RFC Academy also has strong links with the Cyprus Rugby Federation Youth set up and we regularly hold all island training sessions in Limassol for all those youth players who are eligible to play for Cyprus.
